Ebru workshop with Rijkswaterstaat

A

few months ago, Nadir came to our gallery and followed an Ebru (marbling) workshop with his friends. He was so impressed by this unique art form, so he decided to share this experience with his colleagues. On Thursday 12 December we gave a workshop to 30 people working at Rijkswaterstaat Verkeer- en Watermanagement. It is so nice to see the first reaction of people (especially when it is a big group like this one) when we show the result of marbling during the demonstration. At the end of the workshop, Nadir asked us to choose the most beautiful marbling that is made in this group, because he had a little present for this person. We found it rather hard to choose one, as all of them were unique. There was even one person who thought out of the box and created marblings we had never seen before!
