inally! On the 25th of June, we had an Open Day at the Rumi Kunst Instituut, which we had to postpone for a while due to covid. It was a day full of art and encounters. We also had a visit from Alderman Vlaardingen, Lianne van Kalken. Outside our art studio, we attended the annual ‘Haring- en Bierfestival’, a cultural and historical city festival.

Ebru / Paper Marbling, Arabic & Western Calligraphy, Tezhip, Ney… The guests could try out different art forms and enjoy a Ney performance.
